LSU Tigers infielder Seth Dardar went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run and four RBI, including a three-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning that gave LSU an 11-10 lead over the Kentucky Wildcats in a Southeastern Conference baseball game on Sunday at Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.[1][2]

LSU trailed 7-0 entering the bottom of the third inning but mounted a comeback, reducing the deficit to one run before Kentucky scored three times in the fifth to regain a two-run advantage.[1][2]

Dardar, facing the plate with two runners on base and LSU down by two, hit a home run to right field.[1] The Tigers added six more runs after his homer while their bullpen allowed no additional Kentucky runs.[1][2]

LSU won 17-10 to clinch the three-game SEC series.[1][2] The Tigers improved to 19-10 overall and 4-5 in conference play; Kentucky fell to 21-6 overall and 5-4 in the SEC.[1][3]

"Even down 7-0, our players were confident they were going to come back in this game," LSU head coach Jay Johnson said. "I’m very proud of the way they competed; they gave their all throughout the game and earned a great victory."[1]

Dardar, a transfer to LSU for the 2026 season after stints at Kansas State and Columbia, provided the key blow in the high-scoring contest at the Tigers' home venue, which has a capacity of 10,326.[1][4][5]
